AFC West Betting Odds America

Off late, one would argue that the AFC West division is one of the weakest or the most challenging division in the NFL (National Football League). Looking at 2008, the AFC West division winners have been making it into the playoffs with just .500 or even worse records in a regular season play. Contrary to this, the division, however, brags of being the division with most winnings in the NFL, on year by year basis. Al the teams in the AFC West have an all-time winning record of more than .500. To add the icing on the cake, the division has had 14 of their teams make it through to the Super Bowl.

This division comprises of four teams, the Oakland Raiders, the Denver Broncos, the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Each of these teams managed to win the division in the first four years of the National Football League’s realignment. The Oakland Raiders won in 2004, Kansas in 2003, San Diego in 2004 and the Broncos in 2005. Read on below and learn more about the AFC West betting teams in America.

Betting on the AFC West Games

Starting off with the Denver Broncos, the D is quite active in the word ‘Denver’ such that many sports betting experts still have the team placed as high as position 5. It’s normal that when a team wins a championship and their best player then retires, they also fall off the ladder a bit. However, for the Broncos, it won’t be like the traditional rebuilding process as the team still has most if not all of their relevant pieces to win a tournament.

On the other side of the coin, the Kansas City Chiefs, however, are alright, but just alright. The football team is expected to make it to the playoff this coming season but getting to round two might be a stretch. However, it’s still doable.

Meanwhile, though at full strength, the San Diego Chargers currently lacks enough manpower for them to compete just in their division, let alone make it to the playoffs. Off course health has been a matter of urgency lately, considering that the team was hit by quite a lot of injuries in their last season. However, some US punters will still believe that even when at their healthiest, they would still struggle to make it to the playoffs.

Lastly, the Oakland Raiders are also way too weak for them even to find their way to the playoffs. There’s however, considerable room for improvement. The team will need to consider keeping their current coaching staff for a couple of seasons so as to build a stable team and winner. This seems to be the Denver Broncos’ title until the other team steps up their game and takes it from them.
